Elizabeth K Cassidy
Elizabeth K. Cassidy advises both municipal and private developer clients on a wide variety of land use, zoning, environmental and regulatory issues and represents a broad range of clients before land use approval boards, regulatory agencies and the courts in civil litigation. Elizabeth currently serves as Village Attorney for the Village of Florida, advising the Village Board of Trustees, the Planning Board, and Comprehensive Plan Committee. Elizabeth also represents the Village of Monroe Planning Board and has previously served as Village Attorney for the Village of Hillburn. Elizabeth represents clients before regulatory agencies including the New York State Liquor Authority.
In addition to her land use and municipal law practice, Elizabeth represents clients in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate including buy/sell transactions, lending, title clearance, site due diligence, landlord/tenant matters and related litigation including quiet title actions.
Elizabeth works with her clients to provide a high level of personalized legal representation allowing her clients to achieve their goals in the most direct and efficient way possible.
Elizabeth is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey as well as the Southern District of New York and the United States Supreme Court. She recently served as President of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce and continues to serve on their Board of Directors.
